Terms of Service

Last updated: June 12, 2026. By accessing or using Cartrize at cartrize.com, our web application, or the optional Cartrize Chrome extension, you agree to these Terms of Service (Terms). If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What Cartrize is

Cartrize is a hosted comparison tool for registered members. You create car or real-estate projects, add listing detail pages or files, extract structured fields with cloud AI (Google Gemini), edit rows in a spreadsheet-like workspace, and export results from your browser.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be able to form a binding contract and comply with applicable law.
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your email or Google account secure.
You must provide accurate account information and notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.

Acceptable use

Use Cartrize only for lawful purposes and only on content you have the right to capture, upload, or process.
Do not use the service to break the law, infringe others' rights, scrape or access sites in violation of their terms, or submit malware or abusive content.
Do not attempt to interfere with the service, bypass access controls, or overload our systems.
If you use the Chrome extension, you are responsible for complying with the terms and policies of the websites you capture.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you upload or capture. You grant us a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display that content solely to operate Cartrize — including sending relevant content to Google Gemini to perform extractions you request and storing your project sheet state so you can use the product.

AI-generated results

Cartrize uses automated AI extraction. Results may be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated. You are responsible for verifying outputs before making purchase, financial, legal, safety, or compliance decisions. The service is provided for comparison assistance, not professional advice.

Service limits and changes

Each conversion batch may include up to 3 files, with each file up to 50 MB, so the tool stays responsive. Registered members may use core features free, but we may change limits, availability, or features at any time.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Cartrize with or without notice. We are not liable if the service is unavailable at any time.

Third-party services

Cartrize relies on third-party infrastructure and AI providers, including Google Gemini, under their respective terms. Your use of Google sign-in is also subject to Google's policies. We are not responsible for third-party sites you visit or capture.

Disclaimer of warranties

Cartrize is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cartrize and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of USD $100 or the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim.

Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify Cartrize and its operators against claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the service, or your violation of these Terms.

Termination

You may stop using Cartrize at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnity.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes may be signaled on the site. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory local law requires otherwise.
